Play Cards – Develop Your Skills
Do you want to feel immersed and captivated when you go outdoors? You have untapped abilities for experiencing Nature like this; they just need to be awakened and nurtured. In a more perfect world, your family and community would have taught you how, in this world, cards and mani stones will have to do.
Did you know there are cultures that inscribe rocks— mani stones —with blessings and wise sayings, leaving them on the land for others to discover?
On these cards you’ll find mani stones engraved with lessons for being in Nature. They’ll show you how to sharpen each skill and apply it to Earth’s nine realms. But, it only works if you take their messages to heart.
There are no right or wrong ways to do it. Just turning your efforts, attention, and wonder toward Nature grows and sustains a relationship.
And if you’ve come across this page by chance, learn what it’s all about here.
Using Your Mani Stones
Look these stones over and notice their shapes, colors, and rock types. Then find the black stones on the ace, king, queen and jack cards. They contain messages about four abilities you already have—your senses, curiosity, imagination, and reverence—and tell you how to activate, apply, hone, and make a habit of using them in Nature. The remaining stones teach how to use each skill within Earth’s nine realms.
Play Cards: Learn the Lessons
Mastering the mani stones’ lessons will be easier if you see them over and over, the way you do when you play cards. Choose from the selection of card games below. Take a moment to read a card every now and then. In time, their lessons will sink in.
For quicker results, use them outside. Take your phone or tablet along, pick a card and do what its mani stone says. Walk a short distance, draw another one and repeat. Try not to overload yourself, three or four is usually enough. But notice how differently you’re experiencing Nature. However you do it, being aware and outside strengthens these pivotal skills.
